Soaring into the new year with a glistening synth-lead single 'Foyer', dream-pop master Jack Tatum, pka Wild Nothing, has announced his new Laughing Gas EP. Consisting of b-sides from his 2018 album Indigo, the Jorge Elbrecht-produced collection is expected to be released in early February via Captured Tracks. Veering away from the jangly guitar sounds of his more famous early works, 'Foyer' sees Tatum embracing a more experimental approach. Opening with intricate electronics that flitter in your ears like insects, powerful synth chords and an unashamedly funky bass line beckon Tatum's delay-drenched vocals as fat, 80s-inspired beats add a sense of drama to the surreal sonic landscape. -Holly Mullineaux
